Change Management for IS Division of Integrated Regional Health System
The Challenge
A nationally recognized Information Systems Division of an integrated regional and healthcare system desired to equip their senior leadership team and functional areas with laser-like focus on their most critical goals in order to achieve aggressive expectations. They sought to take strategy formation and execution to the next level.
The Solution
Third River Partners facilitated the senior leadership team to review overloaded goals and expectations and prioritize the most important Greater Goals to align with and focus upon. In addition, Third River developed the coaching skills of the senior leaders so that they could focus their teams on these goals. Finally, Third River developed advanced Change Management thinking and practices in the 200-person organization, developing them to be proactive owners of significant change versus being victims of those changes.
The Outcome
Senior Leaders indicated a significant improvement in their working relationships with one another, including improved trust, and the ability to be collaborative problem solvers versus obstacle throwers. The Change Management frameworks were incorporated into the Program Management Toolkit & Practices for the organization. The impact upon the group led to an expansion of greater cross-functional collaboration.
